No Walls, No Ceilings, No Floors

GREAT EXPECTATIONS (apologies to Charles Dickens)

As a writer, I sometimes find myself hard press on putting pen to paper. I find myself in a state of paralysis…and upon close examination, my paralysis stems from expectations-not so much the expectation of others but my own! Will my thoughts confirm what i want to get to my readers? When i think of what it can be, I am dazzled.

After sometime, when I have finally finished writing my book, and I reflect on how much was entrusted to me by my editors and publisher, I feel the pangs of giving birth to something so beautiful and true it makes me cry!
